After receiving my MA in Creative Writing from SUNY New Paltz, I have been devoted to spreading my raw, emphatic verse across the Hudson Valley. Poetry is the one outlet I use to tell the story of my life and my experiences, and I do so with the utmost honesty and transparency.
I host an open mic, White Noise, at Green Kill in Kingston, New York, along with running this blog and another collaborative one I run with my friend, clementinesrevenge.wordpress.com. For the past two years I have been a part of the staff for a Hudson Valley based New Years Day performance event where I, along with the team, organize over 120 performers to present poetry, music, performance art, and anything else that falls under the "performance" genre on New Years Day.
I have had poetry published in the Green Kill Broadsheet, the Stonesthrow Review, the Shawangunk Review, Graphic Violence, Beneath the Mask, and Lightwood Press.
Besides these personal and poetic endeavors, I am also an Editorial Assistant and new journalist at a local newspaper, the Shawangunk Journal, and their sister publication, online-based Kingston Wire.
I hope all those who come across this website will become inspired or see something in themselves through my words and creations. With the engagement I wish to receive from launching this site, my goal is to create a community of like-minded writers who can feel free to share their work as I am doing here. Your voice will not go unheard unless you allow it to.
Thank you for reading and taking the time to become a part of this community.
